2 June 2007 was a good day. I get to see 苏打绿 and 五月天 in the same day! Now that my mayday concert is over, I am so having mayday withdrawal syndrome. I feel empty. And lost. And energy-less. The concert was absolutely fantastic and unbelieveable. Everyone (almost) was super high and totally over the top. It was about 3 hours long and we stood and jumped and was swinging our arms about all the time. Of course, the after-effects of yesterday is aching bodies for days to come. But it was all worth it. It was totally worth the time, money and energy. I still can't believe that it is over so soon. How long again must I wait for them to come again?!? It would be such a long long wait again... Again, one would need to watch them 'live' in order to fully appreciate them and understand my love for them.
Since I had ranted about mayday above, let me give some credit to the other band I saw, 苏打绿. They had singing-autograph sessions for yesterday and today and amazingly, I was there for both days. Although they did not have the same budget as mayday to have their own instruments and sound system but with just a acoustic guitar, the lead was good enough to sustain interest and his vocals were good enough to make up for the lack of other stuff. Well, I hope you guys get the picture because I don't really know how to describe it. Hah.
So, above being my occasional rantings about my beloved 五月天. Back to my withdrawn state.
