Since I just attended another concert the previous saturday, I cannot blog about it till I clear my "outstanding posts" regarding the other concerts, namely the Sodagreen one.

Erm, from my long-lasting memory, the events of that night are still prominently etched in my head, really! So, he didn't really sing very well on that day but he was still being his lame and funny self. It was also an upgrade in location since their last concert was held in Republic Poly's auditorium, and now it is at Expo. I guess many of their fans are Mayday fans too, I am one example!

Anyway, Qingfeng was full of rubbish as usual and as blunt as he can be. He commented straight out that encores are just part of the show but still told the audience that they still had to play the part and scream "encore", if not the encore may not happen! He did many other funny and stupid things too, which will not do justice to him if they are written down. Some things are better appreciated live. =)

Moon! Well, they have interesting visual effects on the screen but its a pity that it had lousy resolution.

We can see his dance moves on the screen. And he diligently danced accordingly!

Finally enough of the fun and madness. Pure singing, and piano accompaniment.

Ok, that is 1 concert down. Next post will be for the benefit of mx. Jam Hsiao. Then I can finally move on to Misia. =)

For the first time in my life, hopefully the last, I ate mangoes that somehow tasted and smelled like durians.

Not that I have anything against durians or mangoes, they are great fruits, but when they do not taste like how they look like, it is an extremely weird sensation.

Conclusion: Durians+Mangoes=Weird

Over the time when I had not blogged, I went for Sodagreen's concert and Jam Hsiao's autograph session. Photos will be up soon. *cross fingers*

Yes, I've changed my blogskin.

Although I don't feel the need to announce that fact since it is quite in-your-face, but to prevent people from thinking that they had stumbled upon the wrong blog.

Have been thinking of changing the blogskin for some time but I have a rather soft spot for procrastination, hence the change is only happening now although I have been thinking about it before my sister left for Disneyland, which was about 3 months ago.

Well, went for the Sodagreen concert just now. Some photos and thoughts will be posted soon.

So, over the weekend I went to Eason's concert. (I finally went to eat A&W, but that is another post) He can sing like no one else I've heard before. And he can sing almost any type and genre of songs. Well, this is the first time I was actually taking photos during concerts, save for the Rain concert which I was only there as my sister's photographer and Shinhwa's concert which I might never have a chance to go to again. I don't even take photos during Mayday's concerts.

From the concerts that I had been to, I found out that there are a few catagories that can be used to describe the different concerts. Rain's concert was more on the asesthetic value as the stage setup was amazing. Mayday's concerts are fun to go to because you get to take part in their craziness and be involved in their songs. Concerts like Sodagreen's, Eason's and Cheer Chen's belong to the enjoyable group. Those are concerts where we go there to enjoy and listen to their fantastic talent.

I want to go to at least one concert every month.

He appeared under all that garb and sang and no one could see him.

Then it suddenly looked like a Christmas tree, all bright and lit up. With flashing lights too.

And he danced! So cute.

For the next few photos, somehow his expressions are...left to be desired. Haha.

Maybe he should learn to still look pretty/good while prancing around the stage.

I find this extremely amusing as many of his crew came out to wipe sweat away for him. He looks like a little boy who can't even clean himself properly. Hah.

Alright, he is somewhere in the middle but I'm more interested in the lights.

Conclusion: The Indoor Stadium indeed has more visual impact than the Expo. And he is still very good, though age and his kid may have mellowed him and made him more emotional. Yay!
