Progressing rather slowly, I think and it's all Facebook's fault!
Either case, let me provide a short review of Book #7.
The storyline is actually quite interesting and compelling but I had needed some time to get over the author's writing style. There probably is nothing wrong with his style but when it comes to reading, it just boils down to personal preference more than anything else. It just felt like the sentences didn't read very smoothly and fluently but after I got over that, everything else was fine.
The book is actually more of a historical-fiction than just a plain novel constructed out of a random person's imagination. Essentially, the main storyline is about how the Jews fought back against the Nazis after WWII and how they formed an underground group of sorts to eliminate the Nazis who had managed to change their identities and continue with their lives, as if they had not done anything appalling during the War.
Enough on pretentious book reviews, I think I'm not exactly fantastic at them.
I'm very tempted to exclaim that I should lay off FB for a bit but I'm afraid that I will have to eat my words. Same case with MJ this year. Boo. :(
