I have been wanting to eat at this place for the longest time. Everytime I walk past this place at Holland Village, I would mention that someday I'm going to try it but somehow, the someday never came. That is until my office intern came.
The silly girl likes to eat almost as much as I do, just that she does a better job at curbing her desires than me. :) So, one day she decided that she wanted to have ice-cream at gelatissimo and was quite convinced that the store was at King Albert Park. Since she used to study around the area, I trusted her, although in my mind I thought KAP only had McDonald's. Alas, turned out that I was right. She remembered wrong. The shop was not there! So we took a cab to Holland V and finally to this place, Essential Brews.
Ok, so 2 of us went and ordered plenty of stuff. We each had a main course and drinks. But the cheapo-glutton in us just can't let this cheap offer slip by. 3 side dishes for only $13.95! Order!!!
She fail at photography lah.
A decent shot from my zi-pa camera phone.
I think this was her drink. Oreo milkshake, or something like that.
And from my distant memory, this drink should be mine. Earl grey milkshake with ice-cream, I think.
The 3 side dishes that we ordered - fries, calamaries and nuggets. So worth it right?? The portions are so big! But we had to pack back because really can't finish. :(
Look at the nuggets! So juicy-looking!
And the calamari. So succulent!
And the yummy fries!
Oh, we ordered set meals so it came with soup.
That girl had some burger that is so huge that I think she only finished half of it.
Look at the burger! The bread is so thick and the chicken inside is so thick too! Not to mention all the additional and irritating vegetables blocking the way.
Mine was fish and chips. Quite yummy. Not too dry or oily. Cooked to almost just nice. :)
Woohoo, many photos cleared already. Soon, I'll only be left with those that I haven't uploaded. But no one will know because I haven't upload them. Hah.
