The previous week has been an eventful one. The entire week was packed with activities, with no one in the mood to work since it is December. We had a school team-building exercise on Thursday then company Dinner and Dance on Friday.
The team-building activity was paintball, which was not really very painful. I escaped the paintballs rather unscathed and my team won both times we played! We are not that bad after all! It was too dirty to take photos of anything thus there is a lack of visual impact.
Friday D&D was relatively fun. Other than the tradition that the newbies had to put up a performance, in which we cheated as we made a video of ourselves so that we will appear on screen but will not have to go onstage, everything else was good. The MC for the night was Daniel Ong and he is absolutely full of rubbish; good rubbish. He kept the entire ballroom of people entertained for the entire night and that's a pretty mean feat. Photos of D&D will be up soon and you guys can see my pretty self on that night. :)
The only blemish on that night was some minor issue which escalated into something pretty huge and ugly. I am in no position to comment although everyone sort of knew who was right and who was wrong. I guess one of the party suffered an injustice at how the other party reacted, or rather lack of reaction, at his late appearance. I hope everything will be resolved rather peacefully. The office is only that small, it is quite impossible, or hard to take sides and I'm sure no one wants to take side. I'm trying to make this as abstract as possible as such seemingly minor issues have a tendency to be blown up into something out of proportion......... I can only say that it is really hard to deal with people of high qualifications. Especially when 2 of them go head-on. Haiz..
