Dinner at Carnivore was a totally different experience. A scary one. It really made me feel like a carnivore and now I understand why is it that real carnivores eat their catch over a span of a few days, because if they try to finish all in a day, I'm sure they will puke!
The food that was on our plates was so much and it was all meat and of course, we could not finish them. I actually felt a little guilty for not finishing my food but it was really beyond my eating ability. Even a half-carnivore like me sort of gave up on meat for today and yesterday's supper.
Anyway, it was supposed to be a belated birthday celebration for me, and of course there would be presents! Mx went to Shanghai and bought us each a notebook and a pair of earrings. And the girls shared to buy another present for me, a cantaloupe (a honeydew-like melon, to be put simply). When I told my parents they bought me that, their first reaction was, "They so cheapo?!?" But of course, they were not. You can never imagine how much it costs. I shall reveal it in the next entry, with the photo of the melon. =)
