I've finally caught the program that I've always wanted to watch: Engineering an Empire: Egypt. And I'm totally overwhelmed by the ancient Egyptians' intelligence and capability. Seriously, how did they build such huge monuments without precedents as reference and without the technology we possess today? I mean when we look at some of the stuff that they had built, we think that that must have the most logical way of going around to doing it because we have history to refer to. But when the Egyptians had built it at that time, the solution was not that apparent to them and they had to think of feasible ways. How incredible are those people!? I know I just posted something on Tutankhamun just now and now this.
