I always wondered about the meaning of travelling. Isn't it about going to a place where you have always wanted to visit and know more about? Isn't it about going to a place where you have read tons about and want to personally experience it? How and when did travelling evolved into pure shopping? I always find it weird that when people say that they want to go travelling and buy lots of things. I just can't seem to agree. Or maybe it's just a Singapore phenomenon.
And as I was watching a show just now, I was suddenly overwhelmed by an idea. How would it feel like if you could go back in time and look back at the things you have done? Would you lament at your stupidity? Would you try to change it? Or would you rather not to have went back at all? I think I'll choose the third option. It's always good to move on and make good the decisions that you have made. As much as you may regret the decisions, it might be for the better. Although we should always look back in history, but it is to learn from our mistakes, not dwell on it.
