To all those who are even vaguely interested in how my Cheer Chen's concert (alliteration!) last saturday went, if there are even any, I thought I should be saying something about it. It makes no sense for me to spend $150.30 (including the evil $2 sistic fee and $0.30 handling fee) on a concert and say nothing about it after that right?
Anyway, one thing to say is that she can REALLY sing. And she is kind of pretty in quite a shy way. Well, the concert lasted from 8.30-11.30pm with her saying less than 10 sentences. I have to say that her songs together with her vocals blend really well and it managed to make me feel something. I bet many people there was touched by her vocals.
And in case you guys are wondering who I went with (ya right, as in anyone bothers), I was there alone. It happened when I was surfing the Sistic website and wanted to check what are the seats available. And apparently, the seat allocated to me was first row, middle. How could I resist such an offer?! So there I was. I guess there is really not alot to say for this concert because it is not a rock concert like mayday's in which they are really good at jacking up the atmosphere. It is not a concert by something like Eason Chan who knows how to entertain us with his entics. She is extremely soft-spoken and the concentration was on singing and nothing else. And now, the next concert I am still considering is A-mei's. I am SO tempted to go but lazy to ask anyone to go with me. And concerts have to be attended with people who knows how to enjoy themselves. And by now, most probably the seats left over are quite crappy. I'll just hope for the best.
