k: everyone i want to talk to is dead. me: who do you want to talk to? p: i want to talk to paris hilton! k & me: ...
It started out with a intellectual tinge to it but the whole atmosphere was brought to an anti-climax with the introduction of Paris Hilton. Hah. Anyway, it set me thinking about who do I really want to meet and talk to them, trying to understand what they were thinking for certain stuff that they did. So, I came up with a list. --> Nikita Khrushchev, the leader of USSR after death of Stalin. He is such an interesting figure in the history of USSR though weird. Such unpredictable actions and thoughts. --> Roald Dahl. He is so twisted I cannot believe that it is possible. Hah. But he makes for interesting conversation I think. --> Kangxi Emperor of the Qing Dynasty. How is it possible that a Manchu is able to command such great respect and love from the Han people whose character was not to respect non-Han people, even more so on those who had taken over their land. It also helps that he ruled the Qing Dynasty for 61 years, the longest and maybe with the most progress though it is debatable. --> Ramses II. I would think that he is the one Egyptian pharoah who had the greatest impact on Egypt and had left alot of his legacy behind. 66 years of rule. How great is that?
