I always wondered who are the people who give things names. Especially with names like Far East and Southeast Asia. To give names like that are SO typical of the colonising nature of the Westerners. It is only from their point of view that the eastern places are far. From where do they stand to label places like that? Although I've read that these names, at least for the case of SEA, are based from some mountain somewhere, I don't really buy those crap. Who decides that where is north, south, east and west? Ok, I know I'm rambling but I just cannot put my idea across properly in a manner I am satisfied with. Stopping here. But just give it a thought.
