I think I should stop being lazy. Do what I gotta do. Random quote: I think therefore I am - Descartes Day 10 Like all other visitors to HK, we went to Ocean Park. Although I have been there before when I was super young, the impression I have of the place is zero. So, we went to the theme park thinking that it was going to be fun. You have no idea how wrong we were. It's not that it's boring but the weather being constantly at 33 degrees celsius was not exactly on the agenda. We almsot had heatstrokes! And the place was just ok. Overhyped I think. Tried to take some photos of the stingrays but they keep avoiding me. I wonder why. In the end, I gave up and videoed them instead. Haha! Like our zoo, they have animal shows too. Nothing spectacular.
Day 11 Disneyland Day. Another 33 degrees day. But us being smart people, we learn from past experiences. So, we bought a portable fan along with us! Aren't you proud to have such a smart friend like me? That is why we study history! Ok, I'm digressing. Anyway, Disneyland (aka DL) really has not very interesting and exciting rides. Most of them are those that turn in circles and cause nausea when you get off. But the shows and musicals are relatively good. Apparently they have fireworks everyday at night. Imagine the money they spent on the fireworks. Well, it is said that the DL is yet to be completed but I doubt there will be more exciting stuff there.
So, above are my 'highlights' of the HK trip. Nothing much. Overrated.
To summarise the remaining 2 days of my trip, it was random shopping. Buying all sorts of rubbish and funny things. Who goes overseas and bring back mushrooms?!?! Oh well, kinda miss the place and the dim sum. I think I can deal with living there forever despite the living space being quite small. I'll be happy with dim sum everyday and a big enough toilet in my flat. Easily contented. Shucks. Now I have to start thinking of things to blog about. Haiz.. Till then.
