Day 2 (figured it should be day2 because i cant consider it as the first day in hk!) Honestly speaking, it's not much better than the first day either. Maybe except for the fact that I had my first dim sum meal for lunch. Of course there were many more to come. So after the meal, one of the hosts there brought us to Kwun Tung to buy tickets for Ocean Park and Disneyland. Had my first egg tart and first Starbucks coffee on that day too. Then dinner back at home then mahjong again. Sounds boring ar? So now you know why I absolutely refuse to recount my everyday encounters. But since I seem to be obliged to tell people about my overseas trip, I don't really have a choice. Ok, back to Hong Kong.
Day 3 One of the days which I can remember relatively clearly because we went to the...museum! So exciting. My first museum visit overseas. Maybe I can come up with a list of museums from other countries and I can start to strike off the first one!! Anyway, the feel in the museum was so different from our own museums. For one, it is free entry for the general public on every wednesdays. When I was there, there were quite a lot of school children hanging around, visiting the musuem as a school trip (maybe because it was free). The atmosphere was so lively that I can't help but want to compare with our own musuems. Come on, to be honest, how many of you had actually went to a museum on your own will? Our museums are always so quiet, so dead, so empty. The difference is really great. And this is just the Hong Kong History Museum. To think if I were to go to the Metropolitian one day, I bet with its reputation, there will be alot more people. By then, I really think I will condemn our own museums. Oh ya, the only reason why my mum agreed to go to the museum with me was because I threatened to run away and go myself if she don't want to go with me. And apparently, she thought there was only ONE museum in Singapore. I had to enlighten her because there might be a possibility that I would end up working in a museum. That was so irrelevant. Anyway, after that we had lunch, walked around then dinner. If my memory does not fail me, it was the Italy vs Germany match that day. Played a bit of mahjong then I stayed up to watch the match. For the first time in my life, I am watching a soccer match with a cantonese commentator. How cool is that! Of course, as you guys know, my darling Italians won the match. Oh I do have 2 pictures taken from the museum. Just be patient till the day when I'm using internet access with my laptop then I'll upload it k.. :)
