With my experience of watching horror movies, I can actually predict the plot like when the ghosts are going to appear, when the characters are going to die and when the places they go are bad. However, there are always some elements in ALL horror movies that I do not understand.

1. Why is always raining in horror movies?
2. Why does the protagonist always refuse to on the lights in dark places?
3. Why does the characters want to go to places where they know are dangerous?
4. Why is there always no one around when help is needed?
5. Why is there always stupid and brainless twists in horror movies?

For the time being, this is what I can come up with after watching The Nun. I think as time goes by, I would come up with more questions regarding the stupidity and unrealistic nature of horror movies. But no matter how brainless and plot-less such stuff are, I can never resist them. Never. I wonder why.

Why am I so bothered by it? I don't know.
No wait. I think I know.
But I think I would prefer not to know.
Makes sense? I hope not. Just understand the first part will do :)
