Ok, last entry before going to sleep because I'm starting to be hungry. Thought I should post my results for sem 1 for the whole world to know and laugh at probably and the modules I'm taking this sem.
So here goes: English Language: D, despite failing almost everything, I managed to pass barely, thankfully. Political Science: C+, not too bad considering I practically think that everyone in my tutorial group and the lecturers are always speaking Martian or some unknown lingo which I have no idea about. I am a politics idiot. Chinese Heritage: C+, I guess I did quite badly for the paper itself but what the heck, it's freaking China history and you guys have any idea how long and substantial their history is? And their literature is practically torturous because they always prefer chim words to simple words which convey the exact same message. Southeast Asia: B-, this really came as a surprise as I didn't really do very well for my museum report and my research essay which was both crapped out by me like 2 days before deadline? Haha! And the amazing thing was I did the economy question during the actual paper when I never even attended a single lecture about economy and know nuts about it except whatever was said by the lecturer during the revision lecture which all lecturers crammed and fought to talk about their area of teaching. Meaning, not very substantial. History: B, not too bad considering I fell sick one day before the freaking paper and being the last minute person I am, didn't really managed to study much for the paper. So, I really do have the flair and talent for history. Wahaha! I think the lecturers have been nice to me, allowing me to pass with my sub-standards stuff.. My grades are bad in general but it is really so much better than what I thought I deserved to get with the amount of stuff I studied.. So as a tribute to their nice-ness to me, I decided to buck up this sem.
Modules this sem: Japanese Studies Theatre Studies Social Work Another history module Marketing
Mark my words, I promise myself and everyone else reading my blog to score better for the next sem.
