I wonder how scary and terrifying can termites be. Personally, I think that they are just another breed of ants which is white, tiny and feeds on wood. What other characteristics of termites do I not know about that makes me less afraid of them as compared to others? Like ants, they follow a track to somewhere, maybe their origins or food source, and to destroy them, one will have to destroy their tracks. They are tiny and I heard that even if one step on them, they would not die. They would just wriggle out of the small grooves below our shoes and hurriedly climb away. How true is that I have no idea but I sure would like to witness that moment for myself. And the other thing is they feed on wood. This fact would maybe scare only people with lots of wood furniture or stuff in their area. Recently I know of a place where termites suddenly appear. And my friend is so so so worried that he is moving out of the place. Anyway the place is a studio with instruments and stuff so I don't really blame his cautious-ness. Well, I don't know what's so fascinating and scary about those small creatures. I will definitly check it out when I'm free.
