Today didn't really started out good, considering the fact that I had to wait for my manager for about 2 hours in the morning!! We were supposed to be ready by 7.20am but but but he only reached at around 8.30am. Imagine me sitting outside Starbucks, looking at all the confused and lost customers who had no idea why isn't Starbucks open. Anyway, his reason was because his bike broke down on the highway and no cab was willing to stop for him. Well, whether it's true or not will only be known by himself. Something else happened today and made me wonder how do you consider one as a clever customer? Starbucks has a regular who comes almost every morning and orders a Grande Latte but in actual fact he wants a Tall Latte with an extra shot. With this distinction, I think he can save around 50-80 cents everytime. But this particular manager of mine decided to charge him as a Tall Latte add shot, which is more expensive by the way. I think they almost quarrelled. The tension was quite high though. But I was thinking that he is making quite a fuss about this. I mean if you drink Starbucks coffee everyday, you would try to devise a way to save money right? And it is not as if all the customers do that. What is the loss of giving the man what he wants? I think he is what I would consider as a clever customer. Smart to save money and get the product in the way that he wants it. Another thing that I am suddenly curious about occurred when I reached home after some shopping with my mum. I was thinking if there is a personality difference in girls who prefer different types of pads. Yes, your eyes did not play tricks on you, that's what I just said, pads. Some girls prefer those with wings and some without. So is there a difference in character? Is it that girls who prefer the normal ones will be more straightforward and prefer things to be hassle-free? I really want to know. Guess I'll go do some research on it and if there is a result, I'll post it here. In the meantime, if you guys can provide me with something too, go ahead! :)
