I wonder, what are the things people do with their parents during their time together, other than shopping that is. The way I spend time with my mum is definitely different from the conventional way. Other than shopping, we go pick love seeds, aka 'xiang si dou'. Take today for example, we went to pick seeds as usual, but the location was in the PUB employees' union building. It was like tresspassing and it was kind of exciting, considering that we were trying to avoid the notice of the people working in the building. Then after that, we went to buy dinner and had a close shave with a carpark attendant. He was standing right in front of our car and if not for my mum's shout and run about us leaving, we would have got a $30 fine because as usual, my mum did not put a coupon... So, kind of exciting and different as compared to how others spend their time with their parents. Tiring of course, but its fun. Although I had constantly complained about my mum in the past, now I am really glad for them. Everyone will go through a rebellious phase in which they will reject everything their parents say but after that, I believe they will find that the things that they did during that period of time was just plain dumb. Why quarrel and be at loggerheads with one another when you could have fun together?
