I guess I have really grown up and matured a lot. In the past, today used to be a day of significance when everyone will be counting down to the start of a new year. I would meet up with people to go out for countdowns or any type of fun. However, this year is an exception. No longer do I feel the significance of this day, except for the fact that tomorrow will be January instead of December. This year, I am spending the last day of Year 2004 at home. Peaceful without all the people and noise. Cold because of the rainy weather today. Kind of happy because tomorrow will be the start of a year when I do not have to go to school. Instead, I will be working.
Things are indeed different, in terms of attitude, mindset and situation.
