Only a few days ago then I found out that Survivor is onto it's 9th season now. Wow~! To think that I didn't even watch 1 season of it. Because it doesn't appeal to me. To watch a few supposedly good people on a reality program backstabbing one another and trying to win the 1 million dollars worth of reward which after taxing, will only remain as 600,000 dollars or so. Why do people want to go onto international tv to disgrace themselves and show the ugly side of themselves? Other than the fact that they stand to win 1 million dollars. But at the expense of their reputation and dignity. It is really a wonder how people are willing to give up such things for money and fame. But the more interesting point will be how the audience love to watch such reality programs. What is the reason for this addiction? Is it because the programs show a side of the audience themselves which they may never be able to display? Or are people just sadistic in nature? They just love to see other people backstabbing one another and laugh at the victims. I really don't understand people. For me, I'm definitely not like that. Does that mean that I'm not human? Haha. I guess I will be able to find out the answer..soon. If I get into university, I might consider studying sociology. Interesting human beings.
