One week since I last blogged.
3 more weeks to prelims and I've not really done much for my revision and stuff.
Tried to pay attention in maths lecture yesterday but there was really something that stopped me from doing so. Before I start on the incident that happened yesterday, I want to declare that whatever I am going to say is NOT racist, but it's just that I really cannot stand it.
So.. During maths lecture yesterday, me kutu and kat were sitting at our usual places and 2 indian girls were sitting in front of us. We didn't think much of it until we started smelling something. At first kutu thought that it was just her so she though that she was mean but after some discussion we came to a consensus that we all detect a smell. After some searching for the smell, we agreed that it came from one of the indian girls in front of us. I am not being racist but her hair seems to be spreading the smell around and it was damn strong. It was like maybe 10 times stronger than the smell you smell on indian ladies outside. Kutu was saying that maybe she uses 1 bottle of coconut oil to wash her hair.. My god.. The smell was extremely unbearable. So when she left the LT to go to the toilet, I assume, we were quite happy.. haha.. We were also wondering how the guy who was sitting beside her could stand the smell and how her friends and classmates could possibly stand it. Or we are just the unlucky party who managed to smell her when she's at her worst... I want to say again that I am NOT racist so don't come after me accusing me for being racist to indians cos I'm NOT!!
Anyway, there is the Singapore Fireworks Festival starting this sunday for 3 sundays at marina bay. It is supposed to be very good because there will be American fireworks company coming over to contribute to the fireworks. There will also be a bazaar there in conjuction with the festival. I'm considering if I should go.
It's on a sunday and there is school the next day. Haiz..
Supposed to pay the money for the prom by next monday and I've totally pushed the issue out of my mind. The question that has been in my mind - go? not go? It's going to be in Hilton and it costs $60. I personally think that it's quite expensive because for girls going for prom, we are not going to spend ONLY $60. Still have hair, clothes and stuff.. After that there is a post-prom party at China Black costing $30, I think. So, if I go for both, not only would I have to pay more than $90 in preparation for them, there is also the share which I will have to pay if me and my friends are going to share a hotel room.. It's extremely costly. Maybe I should just go crash with pr and mx.. haha.. Still have 2 days to think about it..
