These few days, people have been commenting on how tired I look. It is the price of staying up for the Euro2004. haha.. Maybe some of you will think it's quite dumb, even I'm thinking that I'm stupid, its still interesting to see how 22 people try their best(i believe) to gain control of the ball and score. However, today is going to be my last match, I think. Firstly, I have been staying up for matches to see the teams I support lose. Can you imagine my irritation?? haha.. Italy draw with Sweden because STUPID Vieri keeps sending the ball over the goalpost!! Spain lost to Portugal because Portugal was EXTREMELY rough. Croatia lost to England because of goalkeeper errors. Haiz.. Although the victor of today's match is quite apparent to be Italy, considering Bulgaria's performance, I still have a feeling that Italy will be out and tonight will yet be another time-wasting session.
Anyway, long time no blog because was VERY lazy to on my computer. haha.. School reopening soon and I have the sudden feeling that I have practically done NOTHING in my two and a half weeks of holidays. Other than shopping, ktv and slacking outside. Everything else except study hard for my 'A's that is coming. One very good example of me wasting time away was an incident that happened yesterday. Met xy for dinner at around 7 and sat in AMK S-11 till around 11pm. Each of us ate a meal and drank 3 cups of lemon tea.!! Can you believe it?? haha.. I think we were really extremely bored.. haha..
Found something in my cousin's blog which I found to be very interesting and somehow stirred up some feelings in me;
Something I really don't understand. If you know you can't make a good decision at that point of time, why do you still force yourself to make one? In the end, you will only hurt yourself more than anyone else. But, even if the decision is a bad one, why not just get over the decision and be done with it and try to make the best out of it? Why drown yourself in memories that will torture yourself? Sometimes, I may not be the person who knows and understands what is going on, but I am someone who cares. Not that I am trying to be another big busybody but I just hate to see any of my friends drowning in their problems and I am not doing anything to help.
So, if you need a listening ear, I'll be here. Even if you are unwilling to let me know the actual events, I am willing to listen to you blabber about things that I don't know about. I have always been the one who listens to the problems of my friends and I will always feel with them. For whatever reasons, I feel very deeply with the huge chunk of philosophy. I believe that the situation depicted above applies to many, as in hastily making a decision on something or someone just because it happens at the correct time. One of my friend was sorta confiding in me about her relationship. She was wondering if the reason for her getting together with her current bf was because both of them were looking for a partner and both of them just happened to be at the correct place at the correct time. I'm not naming anyone here but I believe that many people out there are also like that. Haiz..
Conclusion: Do not settle for second-best just because you have not met the best. Be patient and you will benefit more than making hasty decisions which might hurt.
