Once again, I regained freedom after 1 year plus of commitment. Finally, I had ended something that had been avoided by both parties for quite a long time. Maybe it is a relief to both of us because we no longer need to act under certain expectations. The ending was good, calm and in fact happy because we are both relieved, I believe. We also ended on an agreement of staying in contact and continue being friends. Friends have been asking if I'm sad but I'm not. The ending is expected since 2 weeks(approximately) ago by both parties. Although some friends are betting that my current situation of singledom will be temporary but I believe otherwise. What friends! haha.. But on the whole, they are actually quite supportive of me and are all on my side.. haha..
This ending may be a good thing for me at this point of time because I really think that I should start giving up on my social life and start cramming for my 'A's. I can now concentrate on my studies and catch up with friends. He, on the other hand, can also concentrate on being in the army and having lotsa fun with his own group of friends. On the whole, I believe that it is a good ending for both of us.
Although I don't think that he will ever come to this site and read all these, there is always a possibility that it will happen. Nevertheless, I would still like to say thank you to him.
Thank you for all the memories that you gave me, be it good or bad. It's the memories and experience a person has that make the person grow.
Thank you for all the time you spent with me, be it when you are in a good mood or bad mood.
Thank you for all the quarrels that we had because those are the times when I learn my mistakes.
