Before I start on the actual topic, I want to say something. Pervin!! If you are reading this, you are so dead! haha.. You never come school today and left me alone with Spencer for consultation!! Also, he said that he will kill you, literally and metaphorically. haha.. So, you better be careful when you see both of us. haha.. Just kidding. :p
Today is such a waste of my time. Went to school at 8am for 2 hours of maths lecture then had consultation with Spencer till 11.30 or so. Went out for lunch with kat and kutu because my next lesson was at 3pm. All the way from 11.30 to 3pm I was sort of wasting my time away. Then, after my history lesson ended at 4pm, I had to wait all the way till 7 for maths night lessons. What's worst was that the stupid LT4 was freaking cold!! I was really wondering if I could get home warm or just die of the cold in school. Nevertheless, I'm still happy today because it's Vesak Day tomorrow and it means NO SCHOOL. Haiz.. YJC students are sad to that extent. Happy over one day of public holiday when every other school had stopped for holidays. We could only have our holiday with others who are working. Whatever happened to OUR holidays? The June holidays? Haiz.. I realised that I'm rambling again but I'm damn pissed at the school..
Anyway, there's a news highlight in the 10pm chinese news today about the Senior Prime Minister deciding to select about 100+ students who are more outstanding in their Chinese and send them to China for further studies. You must be thinking, what has it got to do with me. My mother had always thought that Chinese was a good subject to study because there will always be jobs for these people. She had said that if I did not manage to get a decent degree or something, she will consider sending me over to China to study Chinese or train me in the aspect of Chinese Orchestra. Yes, it's your cue to laugh. I know how to play instruments in the Chinese Orchestra. For your info, I play the pipa and percussion and whatever I know how to play and they need people in. But that's not the point. Sometimes I do think of the prospects of going to China for studying but kinda can't imagine myself coming back with a China accent and speaking PERFECT Chinese with the PERFECT pronunciations. Come to think of it, Chinese is quite a good subject to study. With China's size, you will have a ready and huge market for you to fight in. So, with this mindset in me, dear friends, please do not be alarmed if you see me speaking like a China lady or acting like a China lady because I might very well do that.. haha.. What a joke. This is all crap and nonsense.
All those are nonsense because no one knows what's going to happen to anybody tomorrow or 10 years down the road. Maybe by that time, the world would have ended and its back to a barren ground, just like how it was like before humans were created. With all the chaos happening in all parts of the world now, I will not be surprised if the world comes to an end in 5 years time. Will talk about this in the next entry, I guess. Too lazy to make my brain work and think about such philosophical issues. Ciao~
